One of the oldest cities in North America, it is home to stunning architecture as well as over a thousand parks and many artistic and cultural venues. McGill University is one of Canada’s oldest post-secondary institutions, being a leader in many areas of scholarly research. The Linguistics department at McGill is well-recognized, and the undergraduate community is tight-knit.
